Hannah Wilks has been a tennis fan since the 2001 Wimbledon men's final left her in tears on the living-room carpet.

Starting out as a blogger and prolific Tweeter, she has been writing professionally about tennis since 2009. A long-time frequent contributor to TENNIS.com, she has also written for The Times and aired her opinions on Sports Illustrated's Beyond the Baseline blog. In addition to many long nights hunched over a laptop providing match analysis, she has written on-site coverage from the Paris Masters, the Portugal Open, Queens, Eastbourne, Edgbaston, the 2012 Olympics at Wimbledon and the ATP World Tour Finals.

Hannah has worked in an administrative capacity on the sports desks of The Sun and The Times and, in the rare moments she is not glued to the tennis, can usually be found editing books on philosophy and visual culture, supporting the Harlequins and England rugby teams or in London pubs arguing the merits of women's tennis.
