WTA's Elite eight will grind it out over the course of one week to finally crown the season-ending champion, but before then...some glamorous photos!

It's that time of the year again, the week of the WTA Finals when the top eight brightest stars come together to complete for one last major trophy to conclude another grueling season. This year's octet consists of Angelique Kerber, Caroline Wozniacki, Naomi Osaka, Petra Kvitova, Sloane Stephens, Elina Svitolina, Karolina Pliskova and Kiki Bertens make up the field. It promises to be another sensational week of tennis starring the WTA's creme de la creme.  

But before all the action starts on court, the elite women were treated to a dazzling gala to kick-start the event.
