Top seeded Serbian Djokovic will play Sam Querrey as he looks to extend his winning run in Grand Slam tournaments even further. Djokovic started by defeating James Ward in the first round here before going on to overcome Adrian Mannarino in straight sets in the second round.

Querrey, from the United States, did well to overcome Lukas Rosol in an exciting five-setter after having lost the first two sets on tie-breakers in the first round here. He had an easier outing in the second round when he was able to beat Thomaz Bellucci 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 in straight sets.

This will be the 10th career meeting between these two men. Djokovic has won eight of the nine previous head-to-head matches and will start as the overwhelming favourite to make it into round four.

Swiss third seed Federer will be up against Daniel Evans in his third round contest here. Federer beat Marcus Willis in straight sets in his second round match at this tournament after having won his first round contest against Guido Pella.

Roger Federer will be in action today.

Evans survived a tight match against Jan-Lennard Struff in the first round here. After winning the first set, Struff won the second set tie-breaker before forcing another tie-breaker for the third set. Evans came out on top in the third set before going on to win the fourth set in relatively easier fashion. He met Alexandr Dolgopolov in the second round here, winning in straight sets.

This will be the first career meeting between Federer and Evans and it is the Swiss world number three who will start as the favourite to move into the next round.

Ladies fourth seed Angelique Kerber will take on Carina Witthoeft of Belgium as she looks to make it into the round of 16 here at The Championships. Kerber defeated Laura Robson in the first round here before going on to beat Varvara Lepchenko in the second round. The Australian Open champion won in straight sets on both occasions.

Witthoeft has done well here thus far. She downed Kurumi Nara of Japan in her second round match after having defeated Irina-Camelia Begu in the first round. The German is yet to drop a set here so far.

These two ladies have met once in the past with their meeting coming at the first round at Wimbledon last year. Kerber won 6-0, 6-0 and will start as the favourite to win on Friday.
