The Davis Cup final between France and Croatia will be decided in Lille and the last Challenger match of the season takes place in Andria on Sunday - and we’ve picked out our two best bets of the day!

(geo restrictions apply; funded account required or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours to qualify)

Marin Cilic to beat Jeremy Chardy in four sets at 11/4 with bet365 - Davis Cup final

Marin Cilic is the strong favourite to beat Jeremy Chardy and hand Croatia a second Davis Cup title on Sunday, but given the scenario and high-pressure stakes surrounding the clash, it might not be so straightforward for the World No. 7.

Cilic produced a very polished performance to dispatch Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets in his opening singles rubber and Chardy lost his first match to Borna Coric in the same manner, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Frenchman puts up a bigger fight in this showdown. Chardy owns two previous wins over Cilic and following France’s doubles victory on Saturday, the crowd will be bouncing and getting right behind their man.

Chardy is very capable of playing lights out tennis and snatching a set, but at the end of the day, it’s a tall order for him to sustain that level of play throughout the entire match - and that’s basically been the main issue for the Frenchman over the course of his career. Cilic might be forced to surrender a set, but he is the man that does have the ability to play at a quality level for an entire match, and his overall class should shine through in the end.

Expect Cilic to weather an early storm before racing away with the match - and the Davis Cup title for Croatia.

Ugo Humbert to beat Filippo Baldi in straight sets at 11/8 with Unibet - Andria Challenger final

Ugo Humbert has flown under the radar in 2018, but the 20-year-old Frenchman is quickly establishing himself as one of the best young prospects in men’s tennis, rising into the top 100 this season on the back of two Challenger titles and a pair of Futures crowns - and I’m backing him to secure a third Challenger trophy in Andria on Sunday.

Humbert, the top seed, has advanced into the final without relinquishing a set and appears on course to complete a perfect run to the title by taking out eighth seed Filippo Baldi in straight sets. Baldi is another fairly young player at 22 years of age - and the Italian is in good form after winning the Ismanning Challenger a few weeks ago - but Humbert is operating at a higher level at the moment and playing like a genuine top 100 player.

The left-handed Frenchman is equipped with a booming serve and menacing groundstrokes and should have too much firepower for the Italian. Humbert is also improving with each match in Andria, beating Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-0 6-4 in the quarter-finals before a 6-3 6-2 dispatch of Kevin Krawietz in the semi-finals. Baldi has also beaten some quality names on his way to the final, including Illya Marchenko and Quentin Halys, but I think he falls just short of a second Challenger crown on Sunday. Back Humbert to cap an excellent week with another straight sets win.
