Watch Live Tennis

Are you a tennis fan ? Well you’ll be pleased to know that every day, you can get the latest action from around the world beamed directly to your computer screen. Even better, you can watch it all for free.

Here at live-tennis.com we regard it as our job to keep the many millions of tennis fans constantly updated with the latest twists and turns from the ATP and WTA Tours. Most importantly, we want to let you know where you can watch these matches, without having to pay a thing.

Each day we preview all the leading matches from the tournaments that week, supply you with the order of play so you know when they are going to occur and give you a link to the live streaming. These streams are the best in the business; high quality, no problems with excessive buffering when there’s heavy traffic plus they come with commentary from some of the most experienced tennis pundits around.

Live internet streams have revolutionised how we follow sporting events around the world. No longer do you have to cough up for that satellite TV subscription or find a pub showing the game, it’s available online. And for live tennis fans virtually every event on the tour is covered, from the grass-courts of Rhode Island, to small-town events in Uzbekistan to the colossal stadiums of Melbourne, Paris, London and New York.

At the moment the main action is happening in North America. The tennis tour traditionally takes a well deserved breather after Wimbledon and dozes through the long dog-days of July but the big names are awakening from their slumber and preparing to do battle once more.

It’s the Novak Djokovic show in men’s tennis right now and he is the hot favourite to claim a first US Open title this summer. The guy has only lost one match all year!

Meanwhile Rafael Nadal is smarting from losing his Wimbledon title and he’s spent the past month plotting at his Mallorcan home to find a way to break the Djokovic dominance. Men’s tennis tends to be very seasonal these days, no one completely dominates for long so Djokovic should make hay while he’s on top. He claims he’s fearless right now but once a few losses creep in, it will not take long for that fear to return.

Talking of inner demons, no one knows more about such things than Andy Murray. The British player has become the forgotten man of the top four but he’s at his best at this time of the year. If Murray wins a slam, it will most likely be in New York but he needs to find a way to beat Djokovic, Nadal and Federer when it really matters.

In the women’s game, all attention will be on Kim Clijsters as she seeks a fourth US Open title. It could be an emotional tournament for the popular Belgian who has suggested she may retire for good after the London Olympics. Even when injured, Serena Williams still managed to draw all the attention and her absence over the past year has clouded the achievements of the likes of Clijsters. However Serena is now back and hungry for glory and she will be the one to watch in New York.
