Watch the action from the BNP Paribas Fortis Diamond Games in Antwerp as Eugenie Bouchard leads the field.
Revived after a six-year hiatus under the aegis of new tournament director, beloved Belgian Grand Slam champion Kim Clijsters, the BNP Paribas Fortis Diamond Games initially ran for nine years between 1999 and 2008, crowning Justine Henin, Venus Williams, Amelie Mauresmo and Clijsters herself as champions during its first incarnation.
In addition to prize money, the BNP Paribas Fortis Diamond Games also offers a gold tennis racquet studded with diamonds to any player so it's no wonder that the revived Premier tournament has attracted a strong field led by top-10 players Eugenie Bouchard and Angelique Kerber.

This could be tight against two battlers. Petkovic is back in the Top 10 and Suarez Navarro is at a career high
Full order of play - Sunday 15 February
Eugenie Bouchard (1) - The WTA Tour's golden girl is bidding for diamonds in Antwerp - as well as her second career title - as the world no. 7 aims to consolidate her position in the top 10 after the breakthrough 2014 season which saw her reach the Wimbledon final as well as semifinals at the French and Australian Opens.

After a solid run to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, Bouchard will be testing out her new partnership with Sam Sumyk, former coach of Victoria Azarenka, in Antwerp. Due to meet Mona Barthel, the talented but erratic German, in the second round, Bouchard could be on a collision course with seventh seed Alize Cornet in the quarterfinals, with Barbora Zahlavova Strycova - who looks poised to make a push upwards in the rankings in 2015 - also a potential opponent.
Angelique Kerber (2) - Defending a narrow lead on Venus Williams for her spot within the top 10, Germany's Angelique Kerber can play very competently on indoor hard courts and will be keen to shake off the disappointment of a first-round Australian Open exit to world no. 24 Irina-Camelia Begu - as well as put some distance between herself and the resurgent Williams - with a good run in Antwerp.
A runner-up at four tournaments in 2014 without capturing a title, Kerber has a decent draw to the quarterfinals with qualifier Francesca Schiavone, very much a fading force these days, her second-round opponent after a first-round bye. But she will meet whichever player comes out of a very dangerous quarter featuring fifth seed Carla Suarez Navarro, Italian talent Camila Giorgi and crafty home favourite Kirsten Flipkens.
Andrea Petkovic (3)

- Fresh, if that's the word, from two marathon matches in Fed Cup at the weekend as she played a pivotal role in securing Germany's passage to another semifinal, world no. 12 Andrea Petkovic enjoyed a splendidly resurgent season in 2014 after a series of injuries. Winless in 2015 through three WTA Tour events, perhaps Petkovic's Fed Cup triumph will be the boost she needs to get her year going in tour events.
Petkovic has a first-round bye to help her recover from her exertions before taking on Belgian wildcard Alison van Uytvanck for a place in the quarterfinals, where she could face 2014's Australian Open runner-up Dominika Cibulkova.
Lucie Safarova (4) - It hasn't been the start to the year that world no. 15 Lucie Safarova would have wanted, losing in the first rounds of Sydney and the Australian Open. But the left-hander had a solid 2014 season highlighted by a first Grand Slam semifinal appearance at Wimbledon and she has a very decent draw to get her season going in Antwerp, where she opens against either Kristina Mladenovic or Silvia Soler-Espinosa after a first-round bye.
A potentially dangerous opponent could await in the quarterfinals, however, with Safarova's rising young compatriot Karolina Pliskova - a finalist in Sydney already in 2015 - seeded to meet her there.
WTA Antwerp takes place between 4 and 11 January.
