WTA 125s live streams are now available online @bet365
In October 2012 the WTA ushered in a new era, with the WTA 125s introduced to provide a middle ground between ITF and WTA tier competitions. The new events are intended to provide opportunities for tennis to develop in emerging markets, as well as allowing rising stars and lower-ranked players the chance to pick up ranking points and gain experience.
In the inaugural year two tournaments were established. The first was the OEC Taipei WTA Ladies Open, and the second was the Royal Indian Open in Pune. Both events carried prize money of $125,000, and 160 ranking points.
It is hoped that the WTA 125s will become a regular feature on the WTA calendar.
We can expect more tournaments to be added to the schedule over the next few years.
