Following the withdrawal of Rafael Nadal, the US Open draw seems to have received a bit of a shake up. There are a number of players considered to be in with a big chance here, making this year’s event stand out as a potential classic.

Novak Djokovic is the defending champion and returns as the favourite. The top odds for backing a Djokovic success are 33/20 with Youwin. Youwin are also offering the best odds at the moment for backing a Roger Federer or Andy Murray triumph (both are currently 333/100).

A few outsiders are worth tracking. These include Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at 50/1 with BetVictor, Juan Martin Del Potro at 101/10 with Pinnacle and Milos Raonic at 100/1 with Youwin.

Competition in the women’s draw is just as fierce. Serena Williams is the obvious favourite and can be backed at top odds of 11/10 with Ladbrokes. Other notable entrants include Victoria Azarenka at 13/2, Maria Sharapova at 7/1, Petra Kvitova at 12/1 and defending champ Sam Stosur at 50/1, all of which at BetVictor.
