Novak Djokovic looks to move into his fourth ATP final of 2011 when he takes on Mardy Fish in the semi-finals of the Miami Masters.
Djokovic has already made two Miami Masters finals in his career, winning the title back in 2007, the first big title of his career before coming runner-up to Andy Murray two years ago.
Djokovic has extended his winning streak to 24 matches this week with wins over Denis Istomin, James Blake, Viktor Troicki and Kevin Anderson. None of those players has come even close to winning a set and Djokovic is yet to drop serve in the tournament.
Djokovic credited his improved serving with his success over the past four months. His confidence is at an all time high right now.
Fish overtook Andy Roddick to become America's number one with an impressive straight sets win over David Ferrer in the quarter-finals. He has played some fine tennis this week, overcoming testing, humid conditions to tough out a win over Juan Martin Del Potro in the fourth round.
However Djokovic leads their head-to-head 5-0 and he beat Fish twice in 2010. They had a strange encounter in Indian Wells which the Serb eventually won 6-1, 0-6, 6-2 and then Fish produced a very poor performance as Djokovic trounced him 6-3, 6-4, 6-1 at the US Open.
Expect a closer match than in New York but Djokovic to win in two tight sets.
