ATP 2010 Season Recap - 250 level titlists

The season is over for the ATP World Tour in 2010 and the short off-season now begins.

The 2010 ATP tennis season is now over as Roger Federer won the ATP World Tour Finals on Sunday November 28th over Rafael Nadal. Next season promises to be intriguing and the thing about the tennis 'off-season' is that it is actually quite short.

The South Pacific swing will start in just over a month with 250 level tournaments. Although they are not always contested by the top ranked players on tour, they do remain important for the peripheral players and the future stars. In some scenarios they offer enough ranking points to a winner to make a critical difference in being seeded or unseeded heading into a Grand Slam or simply being able to bypass the qualifying draw for a Masters tournament.
