In-form Dutchman Igor Sijsling heads for the field for this week's Vancouver Challenger which can be watched live online for free.
Sijsling is the favourite after performing superbly in Granby a couple of weeks ago. His run to the final took him to the verge of breaking the top 100 for the first time in his career.
You will notice that there are few Americans in this field. This is partly due to the Olympics and also because many of the US players ranked inside the top 200 are paid very well to play World Team July throughout July.
However one player worth watching out for is third seed Rajeev Ram who performed brilliantly in Los Angeles last week, reaching the semis of the ATP event there, scoring a big upset over third seed Leonardo Mayer before falling to eventual champion Sam Querrey.
It's also worth keeping an eye on several players who have been performing extremely strongly in the challengers over the past few weeks. Young American Denis Kudla had been struggling for form coming into last week's Lexington Challenger but he blitzed through to win the title and at the opposite end of the age scale, 31 year old Michael Yani is playing the best tennis of his career having won the Binghampton Challenger a couple of weeks ago without dropping a set.
And watch out for the big serving South African Fritz Wolmarans who came from nowhere to reach that Binghampton final.
