It's semi-finals day at the Toronto Masters and after a dramatic Friday it's gonna be all about who has the most energy left. Novak Djokovic, Janko Tipsarevic, John Isner and Richard Gasquet were all made to play two matches yesterday after rain wiped out Thursday's play and Djokovic was kept on court until the small hours of the morning.
Here's what we can look forward to later:
Richard Gasquet v John Isner (Starts: 8pm GMT)
We don't often see much of Gasquet at this time of the year but he's been a revelation this week. He completely outplayed Berdych yesterday and roared back after dropping the first set to stun Mardy Fish. Meanwhile Isner has got his mojo back after a disappointing grass-court season and he ended Milos Raonic's hopes in the quarters late last night. This one will be tight as Gasquet's been serving extremely well all week. We'd love to see him in another Masters final but it'll all come down to a few points.
Novak Djokovic v Janko Tipsarevic (Starts: 11.30pm GMT)
It's the first time these two close friends have met in the semis of a Masters event. Djokovic admitted that it won't be easy playing one of his best mates on the tour with so much at stake but they're both professionals and if their past matches are anything to go by, we should be in for a treat. Tipsarevic has been slowly working Djokovic's game out and after beating him twice in the past year, he'll feel he's in with a real chance. Can he upset the defending champ ? We'll see.
