Novak Djokovic v Richard Gasquet - Toronto Masters tips

Novak Djokovic is a strong favourite with the bookies to overcome Richard Gasquet in today's Toronto Masters final.

Having won six of his seven matches against the free hitting Frenchman, it's easy to see why the best odds you can get on Djokovic are 2/13 with Pinnacle Sports while Gasquet is a long shot at 6/1 with Boylesports.

He eased past his close friend Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1 in their semi-final but the match would have been far closer if Tipsarevic had been able to convert any of his seven break points. Gasquet also hung tight at the key moments to see off John Isner 7-6, 6-3.

The Frenchman has been serving exceptionally well this week and breaking that down will be the main challenge for Djokovic tonight. Gasquet won 83% of his first serve points against Isner and he was regularly able to get the first strike in the rallies against the big American.

However while Djokovic has won plenty of these Masters titles in the past, Gasquet has yet to make the breakthrough and despite all his experience there's likely to be plenty of nerves out there today. It's his first Masters final since he lost to Roger Federer in Toronto back in 2006.

We suggest backing Djokovic to win in straight sets heavily at 4/9 with Boylesports
