Saturday's live streamed action at the Madrid Masters sees the men's and women's semi-finals get underway.
Roger Federer is the comfortable favourite to reclaim the title he won back in 2009 this weekend. Federer has produced a couple of classy displays to see off Richard Gasquet and David Ferrer in the past couple of rounds and while Janko Tipsarevic played incredibly well to send Novak Djokovic packing on Friday, he's never beaten Federer in four matches. The Swiss has adapted extremely well to the blue clay and his fluid attacking game suits the surface more than most players.
Thanks to Rafael Nadal's third round defeat, the bottom half of the draw has offered a real opportunity for someone outside the top four to make a Masters 1000 final and unsurprisingly, the in-form Juan Martin Del Potro is right in the mix. Tomas Berdych is also playing well right now but Del Potro seems to hold the edge in that match-up so expect him to make Sunday's final.
In the women's draw, Serena Williams is now favourite to go all the way after her obliteration of Maria Sharapova on Friday. Serena will have enjoyed that win and it'll be a surprise to see her troubled against Czech qualifier Lucie Hradecka.
Meanwhile Victoria Azarenka has another fascinating clash with arch rival Agnieszka Radwanska. However Azarenka has enjoyed a strong edge over her rival this year so we expect her to progress.
