It's quarter-final action at the 2013 ATP Winston-Salem on Thursday with Sam Querrey and Fernando Verdasco to take court.
Sixth seeded Querrey will be up against world number 126 Ricardas Berankis in his quarter-final match after staving off Jarkko Nieminen in a thrilling three-setter. The final set was a tie-breaker that saw Querrey edge his opponent out 12-10.
His opponent in the last-eight stage is Berankis, who is yet to drop a set in the competition. Interestingly he is yet to play a seeded player thanks to the withdrawal of Tomas Berdych and the defeat of Martin Klizan in second round.
In their only previous match in 2012, Querrey dropped only two games before beating Berankis in Los Angeles.
Verdasco, seeded seventh takes on Gael Monfils in another potentially exciting match. Both players had opening round byes before Verdasco struggled through successive three-setters to get to quarter-finals, beating Tim Smyczek and Robin Haase.
Monfils was an easy winner over Guido Pella but was stretched to three sets by fourth seeded Tommy Robredo in their third round encounter.
The Frenchman has a 3-0 record on head-to-head against Verdasco but they haven't played since January 2011.
Alexandr Dolgopolov plays Yen-Hsun Lu while Dmitry Tursunov takes on Jurgen Melzer in the other quarter-finals.
