Andy Roddick is predictably a strong favourite with the bookies to see off Gilles Muller in today's ATP Atlanta final.
Our recommendation: Roddick in straight sets at 4/5 with sporting bet.
Unsurprisingly, Roddick is a very strong favourite to prevail in Atlanta tonight. He won this title a decade ago when it used to be held on clay and he'll be delighted if he can finish the job on the hard courts as well.
Muller is competing in his first final since 2005. He's never won an ATP title before having lost in the 2004 Washington final to Lleyton Hewitt and the 2005 Los Angeles final to Andre Agassi. It's been a strange week for the left-hander who arrived in Atlanta on the back of three straight losses and was on his way to defeat against Mardy Fish in round two when Fish had to retire and since then he's not looked back, serving brilliantly to see off Matthew Ebden and Go Soeda.
We shouldn't completely write Muller off, after all he did beat Roddick at the 2005 US Open but Roddick was superb on Saturday night to take down John Isner in three sets and he'll take some stopping.
Plus Roddick has won his last three matches against Muller, beating him 6-3, 6-2 in Miami earlier this year.
Outrights: Roddick is 2/7 with sporting bet while Muller is 7/2 with bet365
