You can watch WTA Paris this week live for free as Maria Sharapova and Marion Bartoli look to win their first title of 2012.
Sharapova's big hitting style should be perfectly suited to the fast indoor hard courts of Paris. Being a WTA Premier event there's plenty of points at stake and winning this title would give Sharapova a very decent points haul as she looks to fight her way back to the top of the world rankings.
The Russian reached last month's Australian Open final and she is strong favourite to pick up this title, particularly after late withdrawals from Sabine Lisicki and Jelena Jankovic. However she could face an intriguing quarter-final test against Germany's Angelique Kerber who made the US Open semi-finals.
With Li Na making a predictably early exit, the bottom half of the draw looks invitingly open for France's Marion Bartoli. The second seed did not enjoy a particularly successful month down under but she'll be far happier to be back on the indoor circuit.
Her main challenge could come from the tall, big hitting Julia Goerges who started the week with a very impressive win over Shahar Peer.
