Juan Martin Del Potro and Rafael Nadal will meet on Monday, as part of a star studded lineup that always characterizes the second Monday of Wimbledon.
Del Potro, a former Grand Slam champion, beat Gilles Simon in straight sets to set up the fourth-round clash against the defending champion Nadal, but the Argentine goes into the match accepting that he is not expected to win.
Del Potro said of Nadal: "Against him, you should play unbelievable tennis. You should play everything perfect and then maybe you have a little chance.
"It's going to be very tough for me. On Monday I play against the best player in the world at the moment, so it will be a big challenge.
"I don't know if I will have a little chance or not, but I will try to play a good game."
Nadal holds a 5-3 edge against Del Potro in head to head play but Delpo has taken down three of their last four matches. The Argentine is enjoying his career best Wimbledon and can claim progress in his comeback even if he does not make the quarterfinals.
The match is scheduled third for Centre Court on the schedule of play with the stadium started at 13:00 (London time).
