Andy Murray, the fourth seeded player at Wimbledon 2011, is into the third round of the draw at the All England Club following two opening round wins where he dropped just one set.
Murray's third round match once looked as though it would be against Marin Cilic, however the young Croatian continues to struggle on tour and he suffered an upset loss in the first round to Ivan Ljubicic with the veteran winning his second round match as well.
That sets up a third round match between Ljubicic and Murray with the Scot looking like a heavy favorite. There's nothing wrong with how Ljubicic has been playing lately in Grand Slams as he made the third round at the Australian Open and the fourth round of Roland Garros.
However the veteran is 32 years old and even when he was a top 10 player he never made it past the third round of any Wimbledon draw.
While there is no such thing as an easy out in the third round of a Grand Slam, Murray has to be happy with his draw which will likely go through Richard Gasquet in the fourth round, following a highly probable third round win against Ljubicic on Friday.
