David Ferrer may be exhausted but he's ready to give his all for one last time in the 2011 Davis Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
Ferrer has been a mainstay over the Spanish team this year, scoring vital wins over Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish in a tough quarter-final tie against the United States in July.
However it's been a long season for the world number five and even though he produced some of his best tennis of the year at last week's ATP World Tour Finals, Ferrer admits he's feeling the effects.
"All the players know the season is very long, is very tough for us," he said. "We play a lot of tournaments, Davis Cup, ATP tournaments, we finish in December. In December I have only one week to rest and I come back in January to play in the new season. We know that and we want to change. We know is not easy, but we need to change the calendar."
"I am tired. I am tired, sure. I'm very tired. I want to stop, but I can't because I have the Davis Cup. But I'm really tired."
Ferrer has done it twice in the past though, competing in the Spanish sides which won Davis Cup finals in 2008 and 2009.
