Elena Dementieva takes on Alisa Kleybanova in Sunday’s Kuala Lumpar final.

Dementieva has been totally dominant this week, she is yet to drop a set in the tournament or even come close to doing so and she destroyed Sybille Bammer 6-1, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

"I'm really looking forward to the final as I have never faced Alisa before," Dementieva said. “I think she is one of the most talented young players around; she has a good serve and the key on Sunday is to hold on to my serve." 

Kleybanova who is ranked 31 and is the fourth seed this week, has had things a little tricker on the way to the final. She was taken to three sets by another couple of young Russians but battled through each time and outplayed Ayumi Morita in the semi-finals, her serve helping her lot on the way to a 6-4, 6-1 win.

However Dementieva has already won two titles this season and the odds are heavily stacked in favour of her winning a third title.
