Maria Sharapova, the three time Grand Slam champion, is currently ranked 17th on the WTA Tour.
She will be looking to improve upon that ranking and to do some damage in March as her schedule is busy for this month.
According to Sharapova's schedule, as listed at MariaSharapova.com, the Russian will be participating in the following tournaments in March:
BNP Paribas Open - Indian Wells (March 9th to March 20th)
Sony Ericsson Open - Miami (March 23rd to April 3rd)
In the month of April, Sharapova is scheduled to play at the Family Circle Cup (April 4th to April 10th in Charleston) and at the Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open (April 30th to May 8th).
In the longer term Sharapova will be in Rome and the French Open.
