Justine Henin faces Ana Ivanovic for a place in the Brisbane International final.

The loyalties of the Brisbane fans will be severely tested. Ivanovic’s relationship with golfer Adam Scott has meant she is the new darling of the crowds down under but Henin is also a perennial favourite after her success in the Australian Open several years ago.

Henin has never lost to Ivanovic in four meetings which include the 2007 French Open final where Henin, the undisputable queen of clay at the time, steamrollered to a 6-1, 6-2 win.

Ivanovic is looking forward to the challenge, saying “It will be awesome to play against such a champion. She seems to be in good shape, and match after match I have been much more confident – I think it is going to be a great one.”
