Viktor Troicki was overwhelmed after sealing Serbia's place in sporting history with victory in the decisive Davis Cup final rubber.
Troicki has played superbly all autumn but nothing prepares you for playing the decisive rubber in a Davis Cup final and to come out under that pressure and annihilate an experienced, in-form Michael Llodra, takes something special.
Troicki was mobbed by his team-mates after sealing his 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 win and afterwards the emotional 24 year old admitted, "This is just unbelievable, I didn't know what to do after the last point. This is the best moment of my life. We believed we could get this trophy and we did."
Troicki has been established in the top 40 for the past couple of years and he has the shot-making talent to go much higher but it has been the mental side of the game that many have questioned. Hopefully he can build on this experience in 2011 as talent wise there is nothing to stop him at least reaching the top 20.
