All the action from Valencia is being shown live streamed on bet365 todayPlay on the Agora Court will begin with last year’s ATP World Tour Finals winner Nikolay Davydenko up against Juan Ignacio Chela. Davydenko will be eager to win back his place in the World’s top ten, but may struggle against Chela. Chela has won all six of the pair’s previous meetings on the ATP World Tour.
In the second match, No. 2 seed Robin Soderling will face Daniel Gimeno-Traver. Soderling has had another good season this year, and will be aiming to cement his place in this year’s Tour Finals with a latter-stages finish here in Valencia. Gimeno-Traver is a capable opponent, but hasn’t really excelled this season away from the clay courts.
David Ferrer meets Teymuraz Gabashvili in the Agora Court’s third match. Ferrer is also trying to qualify for the Tour Finals, and finds himself in seventh place in the rankings at the moment. This will be his first ATP Tour match against Gabashvili, who has a 10-16 record this season.
The final match on the Agora Court will be between eighth seed Gael Monfils and Stanislas Wawrinka. This looks set to be an exciting game, and the pair are tied at 1-1 in their head-to-head record. Both of these players made it to the quarters of the US Open this year, and have the ability to challenge for this week's title.
The other two matches on Thursday will take place on Court 1. The first match will take place between Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay and Potito Starace of Italy. Wildcard entrant Pablo Andujar will face lucky loser Marcel Granollers in the second men’s singles match on this court. It’s also worth noting that in between these matches, Andy Murray and Jamie Murray will face Juan Ignacio Chela and Eduardo Schwank in the Men’s doubles.
