Andy Murray's odds for the French Open have been eased to 16/1, from 14/1 with Ladbrokes, to win the French Open after being placed in the same half of the draw as Rafael Nadal.

Rafael Nadal is 4/11 to defend his crown making it 5 consecutive French Open titles whilst Roger Federer is a 4/1 chance.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “Andy Murray has been handed a tricky opener and a potential showdown with Nadal in the semis. If he wins the competition he’ll have done it the hard way.”
