Tomas Berdych plays Janko Tipsarevic in the second singles rubber on day one of Serbia's Davis Cup semi-final against the Czech Republic.

This is a very tricky match for Berdych as all the pressure will be on him in front of a very partisan Serbian crowd. Tipsarevic is renowned as a giant-killer who plays his best tennis against the top players and he will have absolutely nothing to lose in this one.

There is every chance that the Czechs will be 1-0 down at this point so it is a must-win match for Berdych. He has had a standout 2010, making the Wimbledon final and the French Open semi-finals  but his form tailed off this summer and Tipsarevic will feel he is in with a chance especially given some of his results on the North American hard courts.

Tipsarevic stunned Andy Roddick in four sets at the US Open and enjoyed knocked out Sam Querrey and Marcos Baghdatis in Washington and Los Angeles earlier in the summer.
Berdych leads 2-1 on the head-to-head but they have only played once since 2004, Berdych winning 6-0, 6-4 in the States last year.
