Tomas Berdych returns to the tour against Dmitry Tursunov at the Legg Mason Classic.

Berdych is the top seed this week after cracking the top ten with his run to the Wimbledon final. The Czech is having an outstanding year having already made the Miami final and the semi-finals of the French Open. After years of underachieving, Berdych is finally performing on the big stage.
He will be just as dangerous on the North American hard courts and will be among the contenders at Flushing Meadows later this month.
This week will be all about shaking off the rust for Berdych. He starts against Tursunov a man he's beaten three times out of four. The last two times they played, it was particularly one-sided, Berdych winning 6-2, 6-1, 6-1 at the 2007 Australian Open and 6-2, 6-2 at Miami 2008.
Tursunov, formerly ranked 20 in the world is now down at 514 after an injury which kept him out from last September until this year's French Open. He lost in qualifying for Newport and LA but was able to use his protected ranking this week, edging past Teimuraz Gabashvili in three sets in round one.
However he should be no match for Berdych.
