Djokovic missed some tour time with a minor knee injury however he will be back in action in Belgrade, a home country tournament.
Novak Djokovic, the world number two, is currently enjoying the best season of his life as he is still undefeated on the ATP Tour with May looming. Djokovic's success has not come without some costs however as the Serbian was forced to miss some tour time earlier this month due to a knee injury.
Djokovic is scheduled to play next week as he will challenge for the ATP Belgrade title (2011 Serbia Open). The event takes place between April 25th and May 1st and Djokovic has a bye through the first round.
Provided that his injury is not nagging, there is not much in terms of a serious threat near the world number two in the Belgrade draw in the early rounds.
Even later in the draw, the second seed in the tournament is Viktor Troicki and Djokovic has enjoyed crushing success against that player in the last couple of years.
Perhaps Albert Montanes, a five-time clay court titlist, can challenge Djokovic in a possible final however the tournament is clearly the world number two's to lose.
