Sam Querrey takes on Philipp Petzschner in the opening round of the Cincinnati Masters.

Querrey has had a mixed bag of a hard court season so far. He beat Andy Murray to win the Los Angeles title a few weeks ago but has had a couple of surprise early defeats in Washington and Toronto.
He will be hoping to pick things up in Cincinnati this week. Last year he stunned Andy Roddick in the second round before falling to Lleyton Hewitt in the last 16.
Petzschner had a superb grass court season, winning the Wimbledon doubles title with Jurgen Melzer and coming close to knocking out Rafa Nadal in the singles. However his hard court swing so far, has yet to catch fire and he was knocked out in the opening round in Toronto last week.
Petzschner won their only previous match, 7-5, 6-3 at the Rogers Cup last year.
