Roger Federer's next match on the ATP Tour will be at the 2011 Monte Carlo Rolex Masters as the Swiss Maestro looks for his first title in Monaco.
Roger Federer's schedule, according to this homepage (RogerFederer.com) lists the Swiss Maestro's next event as the Monte Carlo Masters.
Federer will head to Monaco in search of his first title at that Masters Series 1000 event, a tournament that is played on clay and one that will take place from April 9th to April 17th.
The defending champion for the event is the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal, and he is on the players list as well along with Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, and Fernando Verdasco.
Due to the fact that Federer did not contest the event last season his results this year in Monte-Carlo will lead to a pure net gain in terms of ranking points this season. Federer has challenged the Monte-Carlo event nine times in the past although he has never won the title, having lost three finals against Rafael Nadal (2006, 2007, 2008).
