Roger Federer and Radek Stepanek will meet on Saturday and the only result that can be expected is a Federer victory.
Roger Federer will face a familiar opponent on Saturday at the 2011 Miami Masters as the Swiss Maestro has drawn Radek Stepanek in the second round of the Sony Ericsson Open. Federer has defeated Stepanek in 10 of their 12 matches from over the years with the Czech national winning two matches on the clay court surface.
Stepanek's chances against Federer appear quite bleak as the current world number three has never dropped a set to Stepanek on the hard court surface. That's a streak of 15 consecutive sets over 6 matches that Federer has won on the cement as he really has the veteran's moves down-pat.
The match is Federer's first match at ATP Miami since suffering a loss last season to Tomas Berdych however there doesn't appear to be a huge threat in Federer's draw ahead of the semifinals this year.
In the semis Federer could face Rafael Nadal however and may fans are looking forward to that possible showdown.
According to the Order of Play for Saturday March 26th, Federer and Stepanek will meet in the Stadium in a match that is scheduled to start not before 1pm ET.
