Roger Federer is heading to London as favourite for the ATP World Finals which begin on Sunday.
Federer has won the end of season event five times in the past and he was in sublime form in London last year, beating Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray on the way to the title.
This time round the Swiss will be even more confident after winning back to back titles in Basel and Paris while many of his rivals are struggling with form or injury.
"For me this has all worked out perfectly. I'm going into London with great confidence," Federer said. "I just hope I won't feel too bad the next few days, because I'm already a little sick right now (a cold he caught from his children). I hope I can get through the next few days, and I'm sure I can. Hopefully I can start London strongly."
The draw for the ATP World Tour Finals takes place at lunchtime on Tuesday. For once Federer will not be in the same group as Andy Murray, having ended up playing Murray in the round-robin stages for the past three years.
