Roger Federer, going for his seventh title at the All England Club this season, faced Russian Mikhail Youzhny in the fourth round at Wimbledon on Monday.
Federer had just a little bit of trouble in the match as he lost the first set to Youzhny before cruising back and taking the match down in four sets.
Youzhny had never beaten Federer heads up and the Russian is now 0-11 against the Swiss Maestro. Youzhny is also 0-6 in fourth round Wimbledon matches as he's had few troubles making it to the second Monday at the All England Club but he's never won once there.
Federer's next opponent will be Jo-Wilfried Tsonga as the two players are scheduled to meet on Wednesday, Day 9 from the all England Club.
In other men's results from Monday, Andy Murray advanced to the quarters as did Novak Djokovic, Bernard Tomic, Rafael Nadal, and Feliciano Lopez. The shockers on Monday were in the women's draw as Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Caroline Wozniacki are all out of the tournament.
