Previews today's action involving Roger Federer as he plays in the singles and doubles draw.
Roger Federer will face Stanislas Wawrinka today in the men's singles draw and afterward he will then partner with Wawrinka in the doubles draw in a match against Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez (live streaming available at
bet365).
Both teams are accomplished as Wawrinka and Federer won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics while the team of Lopez and Nadal won a tournament title earlier this season on the ATP Tour.
The doubles match is on the Order of Play for Stadium 1 on March 18th in a semifinal match that will start not before 6pm PT.
In the singles match between Federer and Wawrinka, Federer is the favorite as he has won seven of the eight matches played so far in their careers. On the hard court surface Federer is a perfect 5-0 against Wawrinka and with only one dropped set between the two in those five matches.
The winner between Federer and Wawrinka will likely face Novak Djokovic in the semifinals provided that he can defeat Richard Gasquet in their quarterfinal.
The Order of Play puts Federer and Wawrinka in Stadium 1 on Friday, not before 3pm PT but possibly later as they follow the Yanina Wickmayer versus Marion Bartoli women's semifinal.
