Richard Gasquet plays big serving South African Kevin Anderson in the featured evening match on day two of the Paris Masters.
Gasquet is ranked 18 in the world after climbing back up the rankings with some strong performances in the slams this year, reaching the fourth round of the French Open and Wimbledon. However this is just his second tournament of the indoor swing after he picked up an injury in mid-September.
Gasquet is the favourite on paper after winning both their previous matches - 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-5 at the 2010 US Open and 7-6(4), 6-4 at Cincinnati in the summer.
However Anderson has gone from strength to strength in 2011 and is currently ranked at a career high of 30 in the world. He beat Andy Roddick at the China Open last month and also took out Marcos Baghdatis and Jurgen Melzer on the way to the Vienna semis.
The South African took on another giant of the tour on Monday, seeing off Gilles Muller 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in the first round and he'll be much sharper than a rusty Gasquet who will be playing his first match in nearly two months.
Gasquet likes the quicker surfaces and his adept volleying should keep this fairly close but look for Anderson to get the job done in the tiebreaks.
