Rafael Nadal is wary of Tomas Berdych’s power ahead of their clash in the Wimbledon men’s singles final.

Nadal admitted after his win over Andy Murray, that he had watched almost all of the previous semi-final and was highly impressed by Berdych’s tennis.

Nadal leads 7-3 on head-to-heads but the pair have had a lot of tight matches and Berdych was a problem opponent for the Spaniard earlier in his career.

“Tomas is a very aggressive player, very good serve, very good flat shots from the baseline,” Nadal said. “So gonna be very, very difficult. Very difficult match. Is very difficult to stop him when he's playing well, and he's playing really well.”

Berdych served impeccably against Djokovic and will need to do so against Nadal as if he gets drawn into lots of long matches then the Spaniard’s superior movement will tell. However if he has the same composure as against Djokovic and can get the first strike in regularly, then Nadal could be in for a long afternoon.
