Rafael Nadal progressed to the second week of Wimbledon once again after defeating Gilles Muller 7-6 7-6 6-0 in a match that had been delayed after rain at SW19 caused play to be stopped on Friday evening.

Speaking after the win, Nadal said: "I started the match without some rhythm and it is difficult because it is like a lottery.

"But I was pleased with how I played in the tie-breaks especially today.

"I got all of my first serves in and was returning well. But I am pleased to get through."

Nadal will face a tougher opponent in the fourth round on Monday as the top seed at the tournament and defending champion faces Juan Martin Del Potro. That match is scheduled third on Centre Court for Monday as Wimbledon is idle today, the tradition on the middle-Sunday for the event.

If Nadal should win the event he will capture his 11th Grand Slam title and that would bring him another step closer to Roger Federer's record 16 Grand Slams.
