Djokovic has had another solid but not spectacular series of results over the summer, a description which would aptly sum up his 2010 season. He's still comfortably ranked in the top four but seems to have lost that spark in his game which saw him contending for major titles two years ago.

He was defeated by Roger Federer and Andy Roddick in Toronto and Cincinnati, two men who are rapidly becoming nemisis's for Djokovic in the big events.  

Troicki briefly entertained hopes of his first ATP title in New Haven last week but Denis Istomin put paid to those chances in the semis. He's yet to produce the consistent wins against top players which would suggest he can beat Djokovic over five sets on a stage like this.

Djokovic has won four of their five matches and has beaten his young compatriot twice in 2010 – 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in Dubai and then more convincingly, 6-3, 7-5 in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago.
