Davydenko, correctly, is coming in as the underdog in his semifinal match versus Davydenko, but is he priced right.

Nikolay Davydenko and Novak Djokovic were bound to meet one another sooner or later.  True, they have met three times before but not on tour this year and both have been playing so well that it is surprising that they have not met in 2009 until now, at the Shanghai Masters.

Djokovic has opened as the favorite in the match, but he may have been set as too heavy of a favorite with most sportsbooks.

In their limited head to head history Djokovic has gotten the best of Davydenko 2-1.  However that is not a huge edge and they have almost always produced very tightly contested sets.  Djokovic should only be considered a  light favorite in their head to head semifinal match in Shanghai, especially since Djokovic hasn't had a significant amount of rest coming off of his title last week.

There is value in picking the underdog Davydenko with Boylesports at +190 (19/10).  If you do not have an account with that sportsbooks there is probably still a little bit of value with bet365 at +175 (7/4; and you will be able to watch their live streaming of the match as well).
