Novak Djokovic and Marcos Baghdatis clash in one of the picks of Saturday's third round matches at Wimbledon.
Djokovic has looked more relaxed than ever at Wimbledon this week. Few would guess that the Serb is one of the favourites for the title from his relaxed demeanour. For once, Djokovic is relishing the grass-court swing and he's progressed through the first couple of rounds with the minimum of fuss, seeing off the dangerous big serving Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday.
Djokovic's returning has been particularly impressive so far. "Nowadays grass is slower than it used to be, so I think it's more suitable to my style of the game. The ball bounces higher, which makes it a bit more easier to return," he explained in his post-match press conference.
"I returned really well these two matches. This is going to be one of the, you know, important elements in my game in order to be successful. But I need to serve well, as well, because it's not only about the return."
Djokovic and Baghdatis have been involved in a number of epics in the past. Djokovic won a five set thriller 7-6, 7-6, 6-7, 4-6, 7-5 in the Wimbledon quarter-finals four years ago and has taken all four of their past matches.
Expect Djokovic to move through the gears once more and continue his serene progress to the last sixteen.
