With his career on the wane, Blake is desperate for one, big fairytale run in New York in a similar fashion to his idol Andre Agassi. The one criticism of Blake's career has always been that he's underperformed in the majors, his best showings have been quarter-finals at the Australian and US Opens.

Blake believes he has a real chance of taking out Djokovic tonight especially in front of a vibrant home crowd but it's going to take his best performance of 2010 by some distance. Djokovic has not been at his best so far and only just scraped past Viktor Troicki in five sets in round one but you can't deny his fighting spirit and he rarely fails to make the second week in a major.

The problem for Blake is that his game matches up quite well against Djokovic. Blake likes to hit the inside out cross-court forehands but Djokovic is a superb athlete and is adept at soaking up power with his double-hander. Plus with both men possessing bullet serves, he's a far more consistent returner than Blake.

However with plenty of support, expect Blake to get off to a flyer but Djokovic to hit back and wear him down in four sets.
