Novak Djokovic takes on David Nalbandian in one of the highlights of Thursday's play at the Cincinnati Masters.

Nalbandian looked in fine form during a 7-5, 6-0 opening round win over Ivan Ljubicic but he got extremely lucky against John Isner in round two. Playing superbly and rushing the Argentine, Isner was up a break and serving for the opening set when he rolled his ankle and was unable to walk afterwards so was forced to retire.

Djokovic would have been far happy with his progress, sealing his hundreth win in ATP Masters 1000 tournaments with a 6-3, 7-5 success against compatriot Viktor Troicki.  Djokovic appreciates the faster conditions in Cincinnati and he is aiming to make the final for the third successive year this week.

Djokovic has had plenty of success against Nalbandian in the past, winning three of their four matches. He beat the Argentine 6-2, 6-3 on the way to his Rogers Cup title triumph in 2007 and won by the same scoreline in Monte Carlo earlier this year.
