Novak Djokovic looks to end 2011 with another piece of silverware as he takes on David Ferrer in the Mubadala World Tennis Championships final.
Djokovic looked in sublime form in the semi-finals as he swept past Roger Federer, dropping just three games. The one-sided rout sends out warning signals to all of Djokovic's big rivals on the tour, he's back and ready to dominate again this season.
"Definitely an incredible performance," Djokovic said afterwards. "Lots of confidence if I continue playing like this."
It'll be an interesting final against Ferrer who's already given 'the Djoker' a couple of tough matches in 2011. They met in the Madrid Masters quarters with Djokovic edging through 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 but Ferrer handed him a chastening 6-3, 6-1 defeat at the end of season ATP World Tour Finals.
Ferrer nearly crashed out of the tournament on day one, winning a lengthy battle with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga but he took full advantage of a below par Rafa Nadal in the semis, easing through 6-3, 6-2.
It will be close but Djokovic is high on confidence and he'll win in straight sets.
