Novak Djokovic will aim to help Serbia reach their first Davis Cup final over the weekend against the Czech Republic.

Djokovic performed brilliantly over the past fortnight, beating Roger Federer on the way to his second US Open final where he put up a fantastic fight against Rafael Nadal. However despite those draining efforts, Djokovic is straight back in action competing for his country.

It is no surprise really as the new world number two is a passionate Davis Cup fan and loves competing in front of his home fans in Belgrade. With Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki in the Serbian squad they have a real chance of going all the way this year.

Their tie against the Czechs, last year's runners-up, throws up the tantalising prospect of Djokovic taking on Tomas Berdych, the man who ended his Wimbledon dreams this year.
