Wimbledon continues on Wednesday and in one match Milos Raonic and Gilles Muller will meet. Raonic will be gunning for the third round and a possible match-up with Rafael Nadal.
Milos Raonic is considered to be one of the outside favorites to win the Wimbledon title outright and he might be able to give Rafael Nadal a run for his money in the third round. Both players will have to win their second round matches at the All England Club first however with Nadal facing Ryan Sweeting and Raonic facing Gilles Muller.
Muller is a 28 year old veteran on tour and going out in the first or second round of Grand Slams is something that he should be accustomed to. He's fallen that early in a draw no less than thirteen times and he has only survived to the third round of a major on three occasions.
Raonic has only once made a third round match in a Grand Slam but that's due to the Canadian's youth as opposed to his abilities and the hard serving 20 year old should have enough to get past Muller.
The two players have never met before in an official match before although the relative rankings definitely provide some insight into who is going to win. Raonic enters the match at a career high ranking of 25th while Muller has seen better days as he's currently ranked 92nd.
Muller and Raonic will meet in the second match of the day on Court No. 3, a court that starts at noon (UK), and the match has to be considered to be on the Canadian's racket.
