Milos Raonic will make his start to the grass court season with a first round match at ATP Halle against Pablo AndujarYou can watch and bet on the action from the ATP Halle Open at bet365Milos Raonic made an explosive start to the 2011 season, and will enter this year’s Gerry Weber Open as the eighth seed. The big serving Canadian is worth watching over the next few weeks, as he’s the kind of player that has all of the makings of a grass court star. Whilst it seems to be too early in his career to start talking about his chances at Wimbledon, he could be a real threat in tournaments like this.
He will begin his ATP Halle Open campaign with a first round clash against Pablo Andujar of Spain. Andujar has had a reasonably good season, and managed to pick up his first ever ATP title at ATP Casablanca in April. Whilst the 25 year-old will be considered the underdog here, he has the ability to make things difficult for his young opponent.
This will be the first time that Raonic and Andujar meet in ATP competition, and it will be intriguing to see how this match pans out. Given the surface that this match is being played on, Raonic stands out as the clear favourite. Even so, this is the first grass court tournament of the season for all involved, so there’s every chance that we’ll see some unexpected results here in Halle.
