He’s eager to climb back up the rankings, but keeps falling short in crucial contests. Even so, he could be a tricky opponent for Teixeira.
Teixeira and Pashanski have never previously met in any form of ATP competition, and it will be intriguing to see who gets the upper hand on Monday. At his best, Pashanski is capable of prevailing here, but Teixeira, ranked over two hundred places above Pashanski, is arguably the favourite.
