Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sharapova are both into the semifinals at the WTA Indian Wells event and they will meet on Friday night for the right to advance to the final. The Order of Play for Friday puts the Wozniacki versus Sharapova match in Stadium 1 with a start time not before 8pm PT following the Marc Lopez/Rafael Nadal vs Roger Federer/Stanislas Wawrinka doubles semifinal.

Wozniacki is into the semifinals having defeated Victoria Azarenka although the victory was won via Azarenka's quick retirement. Sharapova is into the semifinals having defeated Shuai Peng of China in a tough three set match.
Sharapova and Wozniacki have met three times on tour with Sharapova taking down two of their meetings. Wozniacki won their last meeting however in a match that took place in the fourth round of the 2010 US Open.
Importantly, both of Sharapova's wins over Wozniacki are both from 2008, a time before Wozniacki became the player that she is today.
