Justine Henin plays Svetlana Kuznetsova in the third round of the 2011 Australian Open.
Henin stepped up a gear in the last round, producing a fine performance to see off Britain's Elena Baltacha 6-1, 6-3. The Henin serve looked particularly deadly with Baltacha hardly getting a sniff of a break and she will need to keep it at a similar level against a resurgent Kuznetsova.
The Russian, a two time Grand Slam champion is back up to 26 in the rankings and has looked pretty impressive so far in Melbourne, powering past both her opponents in straight sets. She enjoyed a win over Sam Stosur in Sydney last week and is in the kind of form which could pose Henin problems.
However, her record at the Australian Open is not particularly great. Even at her peak she's never made it past the quarter-finals and even more importantly she has a terrible track record against Henin.
The Belgian has won sixteen of their eighteen matches though they have not played since Henin returned to the tour. Their last match was in Sydney two years ago with Henin edging a three setter 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. She has always made Kuznetsova look a little one-dimensional in the past with the Russian unable to hit through her speedy opponent.
